Description

Heinrich Loeffelhardt, a student of the famous Bauhaus pioneer designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, designed this classic tea service using advanced heat resistant glass. In its production, both hand and machine glassmaking techniques are used to ensure that the pot pours without dripping while the glass handle stays cool to the touch.
A colorless glass infuser features a smooth, cylindrical body that tapers slightly toward its base. A flared rim with a small protruding lip encircles the top. Near the bottom, a ring of vertical slits is cut into the glass. The transparent material is uniform throughout, with bright highlights reflecting along the rounded rim and the edges of the lower openings.
