Description

Heinrich Loeffelhardt, a student of the famous Bauhaus pioneer designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, designed this classic tea service using advanced heat resistant glass. In its production, both hand and machine glassmaking techniques are used to ensure that the pot pours without dripping while the glass handle stays cool to the touch.
A shallow, horizontal glass saucer features an irregular, undulating rim and a central circular indentation. The transparent, colorless glass is smooth and reflective, casting a soft, elongated shadow onto a neutral gray surface. Its wide shape is asymmetrically formed, with edges curving gently upward from the base. Subtle highlights trace the rim and central well, emphasizing the dish's fluid form and transparency against the minimalist, monochromatic background.
