A vertically oriented manuscript page features four columns of black calligraphic script on aged tan paper. A rectangular border of gold, blue, and red lines frames the text. At top center, an illuminated panel displays floral motifs on a gold ground. Diagonal script fills the margins. The elegant characters flow vertically, with additional text slanted in the border. A large, irregular water stain marks the bottom edge of the sheet.
