A glass and bronze inkwell consists of a dome-shaped body with a flat base. The iridescent glass transitions from deep blue and purple to gold, decorated with broad black swirls and irregular shapes. A bronze lid, modeled as a leaf with fine veins, sits atop a short neck and is attached by a small hinge at the back. Shifting colors reflect off the surface, highlighting the dark patterns flowing around the body.
