A turquoise porcelain sugar bowl features a cylindrical body and a domed lid topped with a white bud-shaped knob. Two large white panels are framed by intricate gold scrollwork. On the lid, a painted landscape shows figures by a small structure near water. The panel on the base depicts a shoreline scene with people, a sailing vessel, and a natural rock arch on our right, set against a soft, hazy horizon.
