A gold and agate spyglass, a short, horizontal cylinder, features a body of wavy-banded blue and gray stone. An ornate gold framework of floral garlands and curved scrolls layers the exterior. A circular eyepiece is positioned on the flat end facing our left. On the top surface, an oval opening reveals a dark interior and slanted mirror for side viewing, its edges framed by a golden, twisted-rope design.
