A multicolored porcelain sculpture depicts a man with a long gray beard and a green leafy crown standing on a green-scaled sea creature. Looking to our left, he wears a floral-patterned cloth around his hips and tilts a white vessel. Below, the creature's yellow tail curls on a base decorated with blue waves and purple scrollwork. The base is perforated with circular holes and rests on flared, scroll-like feet.
