A gold writing set features a paper knife with an engraved blade and a green-banded malachite handle capped with ornate scrollwork. Below, a slender gold pen is segmented by deep blue stone. A short handle features tapered red and green stone panels set in chased gold. The set sits in an oval, cream-lined case with a dark red exterior and a circular white label centered inside the lid.
