A tapered vanity case features a cylindrical body and lid carved from translucent, tan-marbled agate stone and detailed with gold and jewels. Polished gold bands encircle the base, mid-section, and lid, which is topped with a small gold ring. Two jeweled ornaments adorn the front: a triangular cluster of pink rubies and clear diamonds near the top, and a smaller diamond-shaped cluster of rubies surrounding a central diamond toward the bottom.
