A gold-mounted agate snuff box with a rectangular lid has curved, bulging sides detailed with horizontal, wavy patterns in amber, caramel, and dark brown. Thin gold bands wrap around the top and bottom edges, while vertical gold ribs frame the rounded corners. A wavy gold lip projects from the lid's center front. The box stands on a flat gold base, its polished surfaces smooth and lacking fine ornamental details.
