A dark brown stone snuff box is carved into the shape of a curled animal, its polished body marked with light brown veins and ridges toward our left. A gold-rimmed, oval stone lid is set into the back. The head, at our right, features a small clear stone eye and a gold band set with small red stones that wraps around the snout.
