A gold-mounted agate and enamel snuff box is barrel-shaped with faceted sides of translucent tan and dark brown stone. Gold bands encircle the cylindrical body. One circular end holds an enamel portrait of a woman with light skin and a white plume. Set against a pink background within a gold frame, she faces slightly right while looking at us. This portrait is surrounded by swirling brown and tan agate.
