A circular porcelain saucer features a shallow white form ringed by a delicate gold lace-like border. In the center, a hand-painted pastoral scene depicts a man and woman with light skin tones. On our left, the woman stands in a green bodice and yellow skirt holding a staff near a sheep. To our right, the man in a purple coat sits on a rock playing a woodwind instrument beneath a sparse tree.
