A horizontally oriented ink drawing on tan paper expressively depicts three cats in a row. The cat on our left is defined by heavy black brushstrokes and faces right. In the center, another cat is rendered as a faint, thin-lined outline. To our right, the third cat sits with its back toward us, composed of sketchy brushwork with a dark shadow pooled at its base.
