A horizontally oriented graphite drawing in delicate lines on off-white paper depicts an architectural view from a cathedral roof. Two stone gargoyles perch on central ledges; the long-necked creature on our left lunges forward, while the winged beast on our right faces away. Below, sloping roofs and arched openings overlook a faintly sketched cityscape. The bottom right features a handwritten inscription: "No. 104 - Guardians of the spire, Amiens Cathedral."
