A glossy earthenware vessel shaped like an oval basket features a lid topped with a brown hare and purplish-gray bird resting on green foliage. A thick, branch-like handle arches over the top. The brown basket-weave body is decorated with raised green oak leaves and acorns. Branch-shaped handles extend from either side, while four wood-textured feet support the base. Lustrous, multi-colored glazes give the piece a vibrant finish.
