Description

Kubera is the god of wealth, and he is most often depicted with a moustache during this period.
A spotted red sandstone sculpture depicts the head of Kubera facing forward. The grainy reddish-brown stone features light tan spots throughout. Kubera has wide eyes, a broad nose, and a thick, upturned mustache. His full lips curve slightly, and large, elongated earlobes flank his face. Atop his head, circular coils and a textured band form an intricate pattern.
