A vertically oriented etching on cream paper is composed of ribbon-like bands and frenetic, swirling lines depicting two figures. On our left, a seated figure with its back to us turns toward a standing figure on our right. Dense, rhythmic hatching intersects with organic curves to create depth and volume. From a jagged form on our far left, a thin, wavy plume drifts across the top. Flowing, layered lines suggest movement throughout the composition.
