A horizontally oriented linen textile features repeating vertical columns of ovals on a cream ground. The edges are unfinished and slightly frayed. At the margins, the ovals consist of thin black outlines. Moving toward the center, solid black ovals increasingly overlap these outlines, creating a dark, dense vertical band. Black block text along the side margins identifies the pattern as 'OVALS' by A. Joel Robinson for L. Anton Maix Fabrics.
