A silver lid features a cylindrical base and a flared stem. From the center of the base's flat top, the stem rises upward to secure an upright piece of turquoise. This stone, a mottled light green with dark brown patches known as matrix, sits above the metallic base marked with dark specks. The object's profile narrows from the irregular gemstone down through the stem before widening into an overhanging rim.
