An ivory-colored glazed stoneware bookend depicts a stylized elephant on a rectangular base. The figure is comprised of geometric blocks with a flat top and sharp, angular edges. Fan-shaped ears with vertical ridges flank a trunk extending vertically down to the base. A thick leg angles forward from the simplified body. The entire surface has a glossy, reflective finish.
