Trade in those winter blues for a week of play as we explore Gallery One! Join in our games, explore the art in new ways, and make your mark on the museum through participatory projects. Each week has a theme that connects to Gallery One labels, a collaborative artwork, gallery kits, Art Stories, or Pop-Up activities.
Friday, December 5 from 5 p.m.–9 p.m.
Swing into the most festive time of year as you enjoy an evening of big-band music, jitterbug steps, and celebratory drinks. Learn vintage swing moves as MIX at CMA teams up with Cleveland swing studio Get Hep Swing. Owner and award-winning dancer Valerie Salstrom will teach the crowd how to jitterbug, lindy, and jive. Then show off your new skills as a TrueNorth Big Band plays an infectious 14-piece big band.
