Vote in Column & Stripe's #ArtElectionCLE

In 2013, Column & Stripe: The Young Friends of the Cleveland Museum of Art, crowdfunded to raise funding to reframe Carl Frederick Gaertner’s The Furnace, a recently acquired Cleveland School painting. This year, we're crowdsourcing your opinion (and your contributions) in order to acquire a new print for the museum’s collection. We want you to have a say in what is added to the the Cleveland Museum of Art’s collection. It’s your vote and your choice. This endeavor is truly: Art for the people, by the people and forever free. By supporting our campaign and voting for your favorite print you will get the satisfaction of knowing that you had a part in adding a fantastic object to the Cleveland Museum of Art's collection.

Earlier this spring we worked with a local gallery, a museum curator, and a team of interested art patrons to select potential prints to acquire. Out of a selection of diverse & compelling prints they selected a few candidates in a primary style election during our event, The Art of Leadership.

Now, it’s your turn to help us finish the selection. Once you contribute to our campaign, we’ll send you a survey link to place a vote for your favorite. At the end of our campaign, we’ll count up the votes and purchase the winner for the museum. If we beat our goal, we’ll be in a position to potentially acquire additional prints.

Watch the video below for details, and be sure to cast your vote on Kickstarter
