Interior Design: CMA Style

Everyone likes to have a home to be proud of. We all like to shop for the perfect couch and armchair to compliment the shape of our room and the colors we painted it. First impresisons for guests start with your front door and isn’t this the kind of first impression you would want them to have? Classically elegant and beautifully designed, this door comes from the Isaac Gillet House in Painesville, Ohio and was designed by the incredibly talented Northeastern Ohio architect, Johnathon Goldsmith.

 

Once your guests have been properly greeted and invited inside, you must wow them with your excellent taste. What better way to do that than with an Italian gilt foyer console table?

As you move into the living room, your guests can sit on any number of armchairs, couches or settees including this fantastic British piece. Designed by the neoclassical designer Thomas Hope for his London mansion, the piece is striking in its deep purple color while its wide seat invites one to sit down and take a load off (in the most elegant way possible of course).

But your pièce de résistance is when you give your guests a tour of your bedroom and show them the eye-catching and brilliantly configured Dutch wardrobe that graces your room. The use of imported exotic woods alongside perspective and the mazelike laying of veneer is visually stunning.
