Final Weekend: Jon Pestoni: Some Years
Stop by the Transformer Station this weekend to see Jon Pestoni: Some Years before it closes this Sun, 7/24!
Los Angeles-based painter Jon Pestoni's first solo museum exhibition, Some Years, offers stunning and alluringly boisterous layered paintings, documenting the artist's constantly evolving interests and concerns.
Featuring paintings made during the past five years, Pestoni’s bold work is comprised of many layers, revealing how and why each brushstroke was made. Ranging from intimate to monumental scale, Pestoni’s paintings are joined by works on paper and a suite of watercolors making their exhibition debut.
