2003 Aki Festival of New Music

The 2003 Aki Festival of New Music features concerts, lectures, and films throughout the months of October and November, including works by composers from around the world. Under the artistic direction of Paul Cox and Karel Paukert, the festival is a three-time winner of the ASCAP/CMA Adventurous Programming Award. The word "Aki" means autumn in Japanese.

Except as noted, concerts and lectures are free and take place in Gartner Auditorium. Tickets for ticketed concerts are available at the CMA Ticket Center, in person or by phone: 216-421-7350 or 1-888-CMA-0033. Major credit cards accepted.

Aki is made possible by a generous grant from the Kulas Foundation. Additional support has been provided by the Musart Society and the P. J. McMyler Musical Endowment Fund. Illustrations by Riccardo Vecchio
