The Corigliano String Quartet
Sunday, October 26, 2:30

"It was music making of the highest order, and I predict that this world-class quartet will be known to more and more music lovers in the near future."-John Corigliano

Dedicated to the presentation of new American music, the Corigliano was founded in 1996 and named after Pulitzer-, Grammy-, and Oscar-winner John Corigliano. In their Cleveland debut, they perform works by Paul Dresher (Casa Vecchia), Jeffrey Mumford (the promise of the far horizon), and Corigliano (First String Quartet). Preconcert discussion with Mumford at 1:30 in the Recital Hall.
