A Talk with John Harbison

John Harbison is one of America's most prominent composers. Winner of a Pulitzer Prize in 1987, he is perhaps best known for his opera The Great Gatsby, commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera.

The following evening, Wednesday, October 8, at 8:00, audiences can hear several of Harbison's orchestral works performed at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he is currently in residence. Co-presented with the Cleveland Institute of Music.
