Lesson: Han Dynasty Zodiac Symbols

Lesson Plan (PDF file)

Images for Lesson (PDF file)

This lesson was initiated by my curiosity about the Chinese zodiac, its symbols and uses today, and how this compares with the way horoscopes are viewed in our society. The purpose of this lesson is to help students gain an understanding of the use of zodiac symbols and their interpretation in history.
