Directed by Charles Chaplin et al. 1914 marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of Charlie Chaplin’s beloved “tramp” character. To celebrate this milestone, we present two different programs of short silent comedies that Chaplin made for Mack Sennett’s Keystone Studios, where he created his mustachioed alter ego with baggy pants and bowler hat.
