This fun class is designed specifically for a child’s developing body and mind. Yoga can be of tremendous benefit to children, providing them with tools to manage emotions, increase focus, and reduce stress. An early exposure to yoga can help children develop healthy habits both physically and mentally. Children will practice physical poses, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques.
Atma Center is the North American hub for Satyananda Yoga®, a style uniquely adapted to the needs of modern society. It is suitable for all ages, body types, and levels of fitness and health.
Please note that this is not a family yoga class. If you and your child would like to participate in yoga together, please join us on Wednesday evenings for Yoga on the Lawn! Parents may stay in the room if their presence is necessary for the comfort and/or safety of their child.
