Cleveland Museum of Art
11150 East Boulevard
The Cleveland Museum of Art is pleased to host the 45th annual meeting of the Midwest Andean Conference, which features presentations by specialists and students on topics ranging from antiquity to the colonial period in the South American Andes and Amazonia. We hope you will set aside time to visit the museum’s newly refurbished galleries, which contain a world-class collection of art works from around the globe, including the ancient Americas. (The galleries are open until 9:00 p.m. on Friday evenings; weekend hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
The conference is free and the general public is welcome. If you plan to attend, please register on-line using the Register Now link by February 10, 2017. Speakers should submit presentation titles and abstracts, also via the Register Now link, by January 16, 2017. The conference program and abstracts will be posted on this site by January 21, 2017.
For those arriving early, an informal gathering will take place on Friday, February 17, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the restaurant-bar in the museum’s atrium. Cash drinks and food will be available.
