Participate in Parade the Circle
Join the Parade
June 8, 2013
Individuals, families, schools, neighborhood groups, and community organizations are all invited to participate. Create your parade entry on your own or at Cleveland Museum of Art public workshops. Parade guidelines must be followed. The parade theme is optional. Join the parade for $6 per person.
Registration
Parade participation is open to anyone, but registration is required. To be listed in the printed program, register by Sunday, May 19, 2013. Register for all workshops or the parade during any public workshop. For questions, call Nan Eisenberg at 216-707-2483 or e-mail commartsinfo@clevelandart.org.
Public Workshops
Public workshops begin May 3, 2013 and continue until the parade. Basic workshops are Fridays, 6:00–9:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Participation as a School or Community Group

Free workshops in parade skills are open to leaders of school or community groups preparing entries for Parade the Circle. Workshops begin in March at the parade studio. Learn how to conceive your parade ensemble and basic techniques for construction, costuming, and embellishing with recycled materials.
Participation as a Musician
Calling all musicians to join the parade. Parade with your own long-standing or newly formed group; professionals and weekend amateurs are both welcome.
