Statuette of a Goddess

This hollow-cast silver statuette is one of the largest such images to survive in precious metal. Her diadem suggests that she is a goddess, possibly Hera, Aphrodite, or Fortuna. Her heavy gold necklace and bracelets may have been gifts from an owner grateful for her blessings.
