Highlights from the Permanent Collection June 21, through Sept. 12, 2005 Admission to the Museum is free CLEVELAND (June 14, 2005) Works by Bellows, Church, Gauguin, Picasso and Turner are among selected highlights from the Cleveland Museum of Arts (CMA) permanent collection that will be on view from June 21, through Sept. 4, 2005. Twelve works in all will be on view in galleries 102 through 105 as the Museum begins preparations for its upcoming expansion project. This is a special opportunity to experience highlights in the Museums permanent collection before they are placed in storage for safekeeping. Works of art from the permanent collection will, of course, return to view as renovation and expansion work is completed in various galleries, some as early as fall 2008. A complete schedule of gallery deinstallaions and a list of building project FAQs are posted on the Museums web site, www.ClevelandArt.org. For more information contact the Museum at 1-888-CMA-0033. The Cleveland Museum of Art receives operating support from the Ohio Arts Council. Works on View |
