		July 13, 2003 - November 16, 2003 Over the past decade, Amsterdam-based artist Aernout Mik (born 1962) has shaped a body of work that creates a hybrid of sculpture, installation, performance, and projected images. Combining the sculptor's interest in mass and space, the anthropologist's interest in gesture, and the sociologist's investigation of group dynamics, Mik offers an analysis of group behavior that communicates by denying and defying narrative tradition.
