Kate Budd

Kate Budd is Associate Professor of Art at the Myers School of Art, University of Akron, and has taught at the University of Texas in Austin. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in the United Kingdom and across the United States. She was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship and several grants from the Myers School of Art. She serves on the board of SPACES. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Budd received a BA from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland, and MFA in sculpture from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
