Masumi Hayashi

Masumi Hayashi is Associate Professor of Art at Cleveland State University. Her works have been exhibited widely, and she recently had a retrospective at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. She is represented in the collections of the International Center for Photography in New York, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Tokyo Museum of Photography, the Ludwig Art Museum in Koblenz, Germany, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. She was a Fulbright Fellow and has won the Cleveland Arts Prize, an Arts Midwest fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, three Ohio Arts Council fellowships and project grants, and a fellowship from the Civil Liberties Education Fund. Hayashi has a BA and MFA from Florida State University.
