Brian Benchek
Brian Benchek, a Cleveland native, was introduced to glass blowing while attending Kent State University. After teaching himself the basics of hot glass in two years of trial and error, he founded Burning River Glass to create an environment for himself and other glass
artists. This workshop has allowed Benchek and other artists to generate new interest and excitement in the Cleveland hot glass movement.
