Defend Yourself, Good Knight A.D. 1620-1650

Sir Rupert says something nasty about you and threatens you with his sword. It's a long thin sword, called a rapier, with a very sharp point on the end. Sir Rupert uses a German sword, but he studied sword fighting in France and is an excellent swordsman.

Sir Rupert is in for a surprise. You studied sword fighting in Spain, where they learn how to use a sword and dagger together to fight and defend at the same time. Whenever Sir Rupert tries to poke you with his sword, you push it away with your dagger, the thin knife that you are holding in your left hand. You have a long, sharp rapier in your right hand, and you can poke at Sir Rupert with that. He will know better than to challenge you!
