Community Arts for Teachers

Inspired by community festival traditions throughout the world, the museum's Community Arts festivals invite people of all ages to create works of art alongside professional artists. Festival days are free for spectators. Preparatory workshops for each festival are offered for a modest fee.

Parade the Circle is the second Saturday in June. Free workshops for teachers and leaders of community groups preparing parade entries begin in March at the Parade studio. Public workshops at the museum, where professional artists help you create your parade entry, begin in May. Please contact the community arts office if your school is considering participating in Parade the Circle.
