Art in the Afternoon
The Cleveland Museum of Art, in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic and the Alzheimer’s Association, provides specialized gallery tours for those with memory loss and their caregivers. Known as “Art in the Afternoon,” this program is designed to lift the spirits, engage the mind, and provide a relaxing and enjoyable social experience. Specially trained docents are sensitive to the interests and abilities of all visitors and encourage conversation, sharing memories, and art enjoyment.
Although the program is free, registration is required. Groups meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. For more information or to register, please call 216-231-1482.
