Aesthetic expression emerges as compositions are refined with contrasting color, pattern, texture, tone, and line. Charcoal drawing on the first day leads to underpainting, wet-into-wet blending, and glazing. Geared to all levels. Beginners and high school students needing observation work are always welcome. Instructor: Susan Gray Bé. $170, CMA members $130; includes model fee. Bring your own supplies or buy for $80 (to be paid the first day of class).
