Egyptomania 2: Hieroglyphics

In these teacher materials, students will be introduced to the symbolic nature of written languages, compare similarities and differences between hieroglyphs and the English alphabet, learn about the role of the scribe and his importance in ancient Egypt, and investigate materials, techniques, and equipment used to produce hieroglyphic inscriptions.
