Tse works in a variety of media including video, sculpture, and photography. Her background as a classical cellist and her upbringing in both Western and Eastern cultures are at the foundation of her work. Here, music becomes both a subject matter and a medium. Mistelpartition is structured as a sequence of images and sound that repeats in an infinite loop so that the viewer’s experience may transcend the immediate action recorded on video.
