Description
Founded in 1869, Cleveland’s Lake View Cemetery is a burial ground, horticultural park, and public greenspace. In its midst stands the James A. Garfield Monument. At an imposing 180-feet high, it is the final resting place of the 20th president of the United States. An outdoor balcony near the top of the building offers a sweeping view of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie.- Taxel, Barney, and Laura Taxel.
