Looking Behind the Scenes Via Our New Web Site

So much goes on behind the scenes at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Our new web site lets online visitors explore areas of the museum that are not always visible to the public and meet some of the people who give generously of their time to help ensure that everyone’s museum visit is a great one.

The next time you’re visiting the site, be sure to check out the following new features:

1) Watch a detailed view of our renovation and expansion project as workers install trusses to support the roof of the atrium at the heart of our new building. A comprehensive web section about our building projec [1]t gives you an overview of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.

2) Ever wonder what it really takes to stage an exhibition? From time to time, we’ll feature videos of our gallery and exhibition installations. Take a look back [2] at how we got ready for our popular fall 2009 exhibition Gauguin: Paris, 1889.
