Purchasing Artworks at Auction 101

Rachel Davis from Rachel Davis Fine Arts [1] will guide Column & Stripe members through the step-by-step process of buying and selling at auction. She will teach us how to examine items in person or absentee, how a value is given to artworks, the meaning of phrases such as “buyer’s premium”, “reserves”, etc.  Members will also be able to preview the upcoming March 23rd auction.
