MIX: Connections

Friday, June 7, 5–9 p.m.

Join us for cocktails, conversation, and live music at this month’s MIX at CMA: an exciting collaboration with MOCA’s WtF series. A free trolley will run all evening between the two museums and you’ll discover connections at both—between institutions, individuals, and works of art.

Each museum will show different, immersive, and dynamic works by contemporary artist Janet Cardiff. You will also be able to view the exhibition Kate Gilmore: Body of Work at MOCA, plus you’ll be among the first to see Damián Ortega’s The Blast and Other Embers in CMA’s glass box gallery.

Enjoy live music from Radio People at MOCA, and get down to classic funk and soul in CMA’s atrium, spun by DJs Charles McGaw and Darrick Grant.
