Family Day at the CMA
Bring your family to the museum every second Sunday of the month from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and enjoy free art making activities and programs for all ages. Explore the museum through dance, music, and hands-on projects!

From Big to Little July 10, 11:00–4:00p.m.
Play with scale and perspective as we look at how artists use size in their compositions. As always, the day will feature artmaking, music, and storytelling.
Artful Tales of India August 14, 11:00–4:00p.m.
Explore the minute perfection of Mughal book arts while making your own tiny masterpieces. This day will feature artmaking, music, storytelling, and a performance of Indian dance.
Day and Knights September 11, 11:00–4:00p.m.
Spend the day exploring chivalrous arts and culture of Medieval and Renaissance Knights through storytelling, scavenger hunts, and art-making.
Draw Together: A Big Draw Event October 9, 11:00–4:00p.m.
Celebrate drawing with live drawing demonstrations, drawing games, and drawing in the galleries with instructors. Draw Together is co-presented by SPACES.
The Fabric of Art November 13, 11:00–4:00p.m.
Explore the museum’s textile collection through artmaking and storytelling.
Merry Making December 11, 11:00–4:00p.m.
